BACK TO NATURE AND IN STYLE
Amanwana is made up of 20 luxurious air-conditioned tents
set under a canopy of tropical forest. Treks are plentiful
as are fishing and diving in the Flores Sea.
Amanwana (peaceful forest) opened in 1993 as a wilderness
hideaway and eco-initiative on the nature reserve of Moyo
Island east of Bali, on the western edge of the Nusa Tenggara
island chain. Lodging is in luxury tents, with wall dives
directly offshore, jungle treks to waterfalls and limestone
pools, as well as spa treatments, among the activities.
The sheltered waters of the Flores Sea around Amanwana
are ideal for game fishing, cruising, snorkelling and scuba
diving, from beginner to advanced levels. Amanwana's dive
operation and fleet of sea-going vessels opens up for its
guests a unique experience of one of the world's most pristine
marine environments. |
